01/26/2012: Flowers in the Shade #creative366project on Flickr.
Walking around in the premises of the hospital, I found a large container with a number on it. First I wanted to focus on the number but I found those yellow flowers near the container, I changed my mind.
01/20/2012: The First Snow in Tokyo #creative366project on Flickr.
On January 20, we had snow for the first time this winter. The snow didn’t cover the ground after all but it was nice just to see it falling.
01/21/2012: The First Shot on the Ground Level #creative366project on Flickr.
I had gone down to the first floor of the hospital many times, but this was the first time I went there with my camera. The next step is to visit the outside of the building.
01/22/2012: Sunlight after the Gloomy Weather #creative366project on Flickr.
The old man in the same room wants the curtains shut, I want them open …
01/24/2012: Dusted with Snow #creative366project on Flickr.
I woke up to find that the view had been dusted wit snow that day.
01/23/2012: A Month Has Passed #creative366project on Flickr.
As part of the rehab, I was supposed to go out of the hospital for the first time since I was hospitalized. The bad weather prevented me from going outdoors … Maybe tomorrow.
01/17/2012: How Many More Sunsets Am I Going to See from Here? #creative366project on Flickr.
The view from the hospital is great, I’m getting bored with it day by day …
01/14/2012: A Bouquet with a Teddy #creative366project on Flickr.
I originally uploaded a different shot of the day on Google+, but I had no application for HDR on the company laptop I have been using at the hospital and decided to save that one for later here when I am able to edit it properly.
This is the bouquet I received from Kitajima-san (turntable00000). I was so happy when receiving this. It was a surprise gift :) Thank you Kitajima-san!
01/13/2012: Contemplating #creative366project on Flickr.
Everyone loves to see Mt. Fuji at dusk.
01/12/2012: Glimpse #creative366project on Flickr.
When I was going to the end of the hallway to see the sunrise, I got a glimpse of the chimney of the garbage disposal facilities in the gap of the curtains in the hospital room.
01/112012: Daybreak #creative366project on Flickr.
Before I was hospitalized, I had rarely seen the cityscape of Tokyo before sunrise.
01/10/2012: One of the Favorite Views #creative366project on Flickr.
I like how one of the buildings of Hiroo Garden Place, which is next to the hospital, is visible from the windows at one end of the hallway.
01/09/2012: I Saw the Full Moon. Yay! #creative366project on Flickr.
I was able to see the full moon this evening. I had to go all the way to the other end of the hallway on the floor, open the shade of the windows, and waited for the moon to rise. I was so happy just to see it :)
01/08/2012: They Came. #creative366project on Flickr.
Son: Dad, what’s surgery?
Dad: That is one big problem of human being.
Son: Why?
Dad: They can’t replace their arms or legs. When they are broken, they have to be repaired. But we, Danbos, can easily replace our arms or legs, even head with a new one.
Son: Oh, I’ve heard he bought another pair of Danbos from Amazon. So we can easily be replaced any time soon …
01/07/2012: The First Morning #creative366project on Flickr.
The surgery was successful. This is the view of Tokyo this morning. Taken from my bed.
