257/2011: Centreal Circular Route, Edogawa Ward, Tokyo on Flickr. This was taken earlier this year. The lights had been off since the quake, but on October 1, the lights came back to the expressways. I’m quite happy so that now I can go out and shoot them again.

Toyosu Exit, Route 10 Harumi Line, Shuto Expressway, Tokyo

This route ends near the candidate location of Olympics’ athlete village, which didn’t happen. Also, Tokyo government is thinking of moving Tsukiji Market around here. But the polluted soil has prevented it from happening any time soon.

As a consequence, not many people seem to use this exit, or at least they didn’t when I was there. The government might not be happy, but I am happy because it makes a cool subject.

Tatsumi Junction, Shuto Expressway, Tokyo
I will go back to this place soon again,
because the battery ran out right after I photographed this.
By the way, the name of 辰巳 (Tatsumi) means dragons and snakes.
What a perfect name for this junction!

    Edobashi Junction, Shuto Expressway, Tokyo
I took the same kind of photo here, but wanted to try it with my new cam and lens.
Luckily, the maintenance of Nihonbashi Bridge, which is seen beyond the overpass,
was over and the blue sheets that covered it had gone. Good.
