02/17/2012: Camellia #creative366project on Flickr.I had a walk in the evening. The air was very chilly, but the sunlight was very warm. I took a different route for the first time on the way to the nearby park. Halfway there, I saw a little camellia tree. The direct sunlight was illuminating one of the flowers. It was beautiful. I tried to capture it but realized I had a 7-14mm on my camera. I changed it to a 50mm, but it didn’t get close enough. I changed the lens again to a 85mm. The direct sunlight had gone by this time, but the pink flower looks even better without it. I was so satisfied that I didn’t shoot any photo later in the walk, fully enjoying the view of the town full of morning sunlight with my bare eyes, not through the view finder.

The colors didn’t come out nicely, but I love how the Camellia tree looked.

The tree was with two different-colored flowers, and it looked really nice. Taken in the temple’s ground in Mt. Takao.
