Starry Night (Super Moon above the Loop) on Flickr.
I know, I know. You say it doesn’t have to be the super moon if it looks that way. I quite agree with you. But you like it, right?

I had two things I wanted to do when I went up on the observatory deck and the roof of Mori Tower, Roppongi Hills. First, I wanted to see the hospital building I stayed from December to January. I saw Mori Tower from there every day. The second thing I wanted to do is to take a photo of Ichinohashi Junction of Metropolitan Expressway from above. So here it is. The main subject of this shot is not Tokyo Tower, mind you.

I went back home from hospital just for a night. On the way home, my brother kindly took me to Daiba, Minato Ward, and I was able to try Samyang 7.5mm f/3.5 UMC Fish-eye MFT which I had bought several days ago. I need to learn how it works.
February 18, 2012 on Flickr.
We had snow on the previous night. I didn’t know that because I went to bed so early … Any way the nurse opened the curtains this morning and let us know that the roofs down there were white with snow. So I grabbed my camera, said hello to the other patients who were sharing the room, and shot the view. I usually shoot the western sky from the lobby seen behind the windows on the right. I like the reflection of the landscape on those glasses.
Is it only a paper moon? on Flickr.
The view from the hospital. Taken in the morning.
02/09/2012: The Morning Full Moon #creative366project on Flickr.
I walked all the way to Roppongi Hills today. It was the longest walking distance since I started the rehab. I enjoy shooting photos on the way to the destination, but I was so tired on the way back. It was a little too long a walk.
The photo for today was not taken during the walk. This is the full moon in the western sky over Shibuya I saw the first thing in the morning. I saw it from my bed, grab my camera and lenses, ran to the lobby. Ah, sorry I lied. I couldn’t run with my injured right leg.

02/03/2012: Aoyama and Shinjuku #creative366project on Flickr.
I went all the way to the shopping district of Hiroo and Arisugawa Memorial Park as part of my rehabilitation. On the way to the park, I realized that I had left an SD card in the slot of the laptop. So I bought an 8GB card at a DPE shop I found on the shopping street. I did shoot one or two shots that I really liked.
But a problem happened when I got back. I can view the photos I took on my camera, but the PC I’m using at the hospital doesn’t recognize the card. Damn. So I’ll do with the shot I took this morning (I’m not happy but it’s better than without any shots that I can share). It’s the view the building in Aoyama (foreground) and in Shinjuku (background) from the hospital.

I woke up to find that the view had been dusted wit snow that day.

As part of the rehab, I was supposed to go out of the hospital for the first time since I was hospitalized. The bad weather prevented me from going outdoors … Maybe tomorrow.

Before I was hospitalized, I had rarely seen the cityscape of Tokyo before sunrise.

Most of the time I shoot expressways, I am alone. But sometimes, luckily I was not.

What I like about this image is the small star shining through the elevated expressways :)
278/2011: The View from Daikanzan on Flickr.
During the weekend trip, I visited Daikanzan which offers a nice view of Mt. Fuji and Ashinoko Lake. I love the view from there. This is an tonemapped image with 5 bracketed shots.
276/2011: Showajima, Bay Shore Branch Route on Flickr.
While shooting at this spot, my tripod somehow got broken. I got to visit this place again.
