Starry Night (Super Moon above the Loop) on Flickr.
I know, I know. You say it doesn’t have to be the super moon if it looks that way. I quite agree with you. But you like it, right?
Yae Sakura Blossoms, Sakura-Shinmachi, Setagaya, Tokyo
The weather was not nice at all. It even started to rain while I was shooting. But I just wanted to take photos of these blossoms. The flowers of this yae sakura have more petals than someiyoshino. “Yae” means eightfold. They always remind me of sakura mochi, one of the popular Japanese confectionery.
Yae Sakura Blossoms, Sakura-Shinmachi, Setagaya, Tokyo
I love this main street in Sakura-Shinmachi. All the sakura trees produce “yae” flowers, which have eightfold petals. Every year, after someiyoshino blossoms have all fallen, I visit here and enjoy these trees.
Seishincho Exit, Shuto Expressway, Tokyo
And the Tozai Line running over the brige on the left.
Ohashi, Yamate Street, Meguro, Tokyo
I like how those buildings are being illuminated by the lights from passing cars.
Roppongi Hills Mori Tower
Kohoku Junction, Shuto Expressway, Tokyo
It was around 23:00. I was standing in the dark.
Yet, my cam captured this bright image. Totally different from what I saw.
Edobashi Junction, Shuto Expressway, Tokyo
I took the same kind of photo here, but wanted to try it with my new cam and lens.
Luckily, the maintenance of Nihonbashi Bridge, which is seen beyond the overpass,
was over and the blue sheets that covered it had gone. Good.
Loop Bridge at Night, Shibaura, Tokyo
Wanted to try this angle again in RAW format, and to develop the image myself.
Kohoku Junction, Shuto Expressway, Tokyo
This POV might be the most popular.
Horikiri Junction, Shuto Expressway, Tokyo
It isn’t the biggest part of the junction,
but the contrast between the overpass
and the shitamachi residences is interesting.
Nishi-Shinjuku Junction, Shuto Expressway, Tokyo
It’s not Christmas illumination.
I know you know it :-)
But, why not wish upon those stars?

Ariake Junction, Shuto Expressway, Tokyo
I told you in a past upload that I love the loop bridge leading to Rainbow Bridge.
This is the other side of Rainbow Bridge, which means the view from Ariake near Daiba.
Rainbow Bridge is visible in the distance.
Now this is not an HDR photo. I “printed” the RAW file and got this.
I need to learn how to handle RAW files nicely…
