View from Above on Flickr.I had two things I wanted to do when I went up on the observatory deck and the roof of Mori Tower, Roppongi Hills. First, I wanted to see the hospital building I stayed from December to January. I saw Mori Tower from there every day. The second thing I wanted to do is to take a photo of Ichinohashi Junction of Metropolitan Expressway from above. So here it is. The main subject of this shot is not Tokyo Tower, mind you.
Camera: Panasonic Lumix DMC-GH2

February 18, 2012 on Flickr. We had snow on the previous night. I didn’t know that because I went to bed so early … Any way the nurse opened the curtains this morning and let us know that the roofs down there were white with snow. So I grabbed my camera, said hello to the other patients who were sharing the room, and shot the view. I usually shoot the western sky from the lobby seen behind the windows on the right. I like the reflection of the landscape on those glasses.

02/09/2012: The Morning Full Moon #creative366project on Flickr.I walked all the way to Roppongi Hills today. It was the longest walking distance since I started the rehab. I enjoy shooting photos on the way to the destination, but I was so tired on the way back. It was a little too long a walk.
The photo for today was not taken during the walk. This is the full moon in the western sky over Shibuya I saw the first thing in the morning. I saw it from my bed, grab my camera and lenses, ran to the lobby. Ah, sorry I lied. I couldn’t run with my injured right leg.

01/03/2012: The Sun Rises. The View toward Shiodome and Daiba. #creative366project on Flickr. It was the moment just before the sun rose. The colors of the sky were very beautiful. I have seldom woken up before sunrise, but here at the hospital, I see the sky every morning. That’s a good thing :)

332/2011: The Bluest Was the Taxi on Flickr. On Qualia Japan Project, we visited Okinawa in October. I had to shoot a lot of photos for the project, but sometimes, only for brief moments, I had time away from the crew. This was taken at such a time. The others were gone to check the time of the next ship, but I didn’t join them. Amazingly, the bluest was not the ocean, nor the sky.

253/2011: Loop Bridge at Sunset on Flickr.I visited the Loop Bridge some time ago, but one hour before the sunset the sky was covered with clouds. I almost gave up but decided to wait anyway. And … most of the clouds were gone. You can’t tell from the image here, but it is not sharp enough because Rainbow Bridge were shaky.
